Local student joins former President Obama for “Graduate Together” ceremony
WASHINGTON (ABC7) — Tomorrow night, former President Barack Obama and some of Hollywood’s biggest stars will honor the high school class of 2020 with a one-hour special airing on several networks, including ABC. Christian “CJ” Johnson, local student and Obama Youth Jobs Corps/Urban Alliance intern, is among the first graduating class of Ron Brown College Preparatory High School in DC, a school formed out of President Obama’s My Brother’s Keeper initiative. He joined us with a special preview of the big event.
