Urban Alliance Response to COVID-19

Dear Friends,

At Urban Alliance, the well-being of our students is always our top priority. We are closely monitoring the spread of COVID-19 in each of our regions and following CDC guidelines to ensure the safety of our students and staff.

Our goal throughout this situation is to protect the health of our students while also keeping them on a pathway toward economic self-sufficiency. We are in close contact with school and employer partners to provide remote work options and additional programming that will keep our students’ personal and professional growth on track, and the paychecks on which so many of them depend coming regularly.

We recognize that the impact of COVID-19 may be considerable for our students and their families, as well as the entire community. Yet we also feel blessed to know that our students have the support of the incredible Urban Alliance community, who have shown up for youth through thick and thin for the past 24 years. We ask you to once again rally around our young people during this difficult time – and sincerely thank you for the support you’ve already provided.

We will keep you updated as the situation evolves and will keep the entire community in our thoughts as we push through this uncertain time together.

With gratitude,
