Amber Hurt

Amber joined Urban Alliance Baltimore in June 2023. Amber holds a Bachelor’s degree in psychology from SUNY College at Old Westbury and a Master’s degree in higher education and leadership policy studies from Hofstra University. Prior to working at Urban Alliance, Amber worked in residence life and student engagement on college campuses, then found her way to post-secondary success while working at a Baltimore City school.

Throughout her career, Amber has been driven by a relentless desire to create positive change in individuals’ lives.  She has dedicated herself to empowering individuals from all walks of life to overcome obstacles, embrace their unique strengths, and live authentically. Outside of work she enjoys traveling, brunch and spending time with loved ones. She is a firm believer of work-life balance and is deeply committed to her own personal growth journey.
