Casey Hansford

Program Coordinator

Casey is an education and equity enthusiast with a heart for seeing students of all walks of life succeed. Before joining Urban Alliance, Casey was a dedicated educator focusing on providing equitable STEM education to Prince George’s County students. She has lifelong goals of innovating structures within American school systems through reimaging curricula and providing service-learning opportunities for students by way of the creation of her own homeschool co-ops. Her heart for equipping youth with the best resources to aid in their success fuels her work at Urban Alliance.

Casey currently holds her bachelor’s degree in human development and biology from Howard University. She is currently completing a Master of Education at Johns Hopkins University. On a typical day, you can find Casey reading a good fiction book, playing board games with her husband, Joshua, and cuddling with her new baby girl, Shiloah.
