LaShonda joined Urban Alliance Baltimore in February 2019, where she has served students in various roles, currently as the Senior Director of Programs & Partnerships. LaShonda has an extensive background in the human services field, working as a Family Advocate in North Carolina before moving to Maryland to work with the State of Maryland Department of Juvenile Services. She came to Urban Alliance after serving as a Family Advocate in Baltimore for three and a half years. She also holds a master’s degree in human services from Capella University. 

As the Senior Director of Programs & Partnerships, LaShonda is committed to carrying out the mission and goals of the organization, as well as working closely alongside the Executive Director to increase opportunities for young people in Baltimore.
