Monique Lloyd joined Urban Alliance in 2022. She is a proud alumnus of the University of Arkansas at Pine Bluff (HBCU) where she learned about the power of being resilient. In her role, she oversees the Human Resources department and acts as a strategic business partner to senior leadership.

Her background includes experiences in the human resources field in a variety of market sectors, including public relations, healthcare, and photonics, to name a few. Having started her career in HR at the entry-level, she feels that this had a significant impact on how she views HR’s role within an organization. Recently, her latest passion has been providing inclusive environments by developing, implementing, and growing DE&I strategies.

When not promoting all things human resources, she can be found visiting museums, traveling, or just hanging out with her children. The concept of work-life balance is important to her since it enables us to achieve our full potential.
